ROOM CAPACITY

Guest Policies

To ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay for all guests, please adhere to the following guidelines:

  • Maximum Occupancy: Please ensure the number of guests in your room does not exceed the maximum occupancy stated at booking.

  • Guest Registration: All additional guests must be registered with the motel.

  • Respectful Behavior: Please refrain from any behavior that may disturb other guests or staff.

  • Quiet Hours: Please maintain quiet hours from 10:00 pm to 7:00 am.

  • Room Maintenance: Help us conserve energy by keeping doors closed, turning off lights when not in use, and setting the air conditioning to a reasonable temperature.

Prohibited Items:

  • Roll-away beds

  • Inflatable mattresses

  • Sleeping bags

Failure to comply with these policies may result in early termination of your stay and additional charges.

We appreciate your cooperation in helping us maintain a peaceful and enjoyable environment for all guests.

UNREGISTERED VISITORS & UNAUTHORIZED PARKING

Parking and Visitor Policy

  • Registered Guests: Parking is free for registered guests with vehicles listed on the reservation.

  • Visitors: Visitors must report to the front desk for a temporary parking pass. Passes must be visible on the dashboard.

  • Visitor Accompaniment: Visitors must be accompanied by a registered guest at all times.

  • Visitor Restrictions: Visitors are not allowed in guest rooms without the registered guest present and may not use guest amenities.

  • Vehicle Liability: The motel is not responsible for vehicles, occupants, or contents on the property. Unauthorized vehicles may be towed at the owner's expense.

  • No Vehicle Repairs: Vehicle repairs are not permitted on motel premises.

Please ensure all vehicles are registered and visitors adhere to these guidelines.

Please note that all vehicles must be listed on the registration at check-in and parking for registered guests is free. Visitors must report to the front desk and retrieve a temporary visitor parking pass, which must be visible on the dashboard. We kindly ask that visitors notify the front desk upon their arrival and are accompanied by the registered guest at all times.

CHILDREN & SUPERVISION

Guests are responsible for the safety and supervision of their children while staying at the Orange Motel. To prevent accidents, please ensure children refrain from running, jumping, or climbing.

We kindly request that you supervise your children at all times. The motel cannot be held liable for any injuries or accidents involving children.

For your child's safety and the comfort of other guests, please adhere to these guidelines.

LAUNDRY SERVICES

Please refrain from washing clothes in your rooms or hanging laundry outside. For your laundry needs, please utilize the local laundromat for your laundry needs.

HOUSEKEEPING & ROOM INSPECTION

To maintain a clean and comfortable environment, we offer daily housekeeping services from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. For weekly stays, please request housekeeping at least twice a week.

Please remove personal items from your bed before housekeeping services. Guests cannot leave the "Do Not Disturb" sign up for more than 24 hoursManagement reserves the right to enter rooms for necessary reasons, such as emergencies, maintenance, or to ensure the room's condition.

Prohibited Activities

  • Smoking: Smoking is strictly prohibited in all rooms and common areas.

  • Cooking: Cooking is not allowed in guest rooms.

  • Prohibited Items: Please refrain from bringing prohibited items into the motel.

Violations of these policies may result in fines and immediate eviction.

LOST & FOUND

The Orange Motel is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items. If you believe you have left something behind, please contact us immediately at 352-394-3595.

We will attempt to locate your item and offer the following return options:

  • Local Pickup: Collect your item in person.

  • Mail (USPS): We will ship the item via USPS. You will be charged a handling fee of $10 and shipping costs.

 

Unclaimed Items

Lost and found items are held for 14 days. If we cannot contact you within this period, items may be donated to a local charity or disposed of.

Please note:

  • We cannot be held responsible for items lost during shipping. Contact the USPS for inquiries.

  • We do not accept UPS or FedEx deliveries.

 

For your convenience, we recommend taking photos of valuable items before leaving your room.

QUIET HOURS & NO PARTIES

Quiet Hours Policy

To ensure a peaceful environment for all guests, please adhere to our quiet hours policy:

Quiet hours: 10:00 PM to 9:00 AM.

Parties and Gatherings

Parties and gatherings are strictly prohibited in guest rooms and common areas. Loud disturbances, or any disruptive behavior will not be tolerated. If a disturbance occurs, a polite warning will be given. Failure to comply may result in immediate eviction without refund. Violations of these policies may result in additional charges or early termination of your stay.

Registered Guests and Visitors

Registered guests are responsible for the behavior of their visitors. Visitors are cut off is at 10:00 PM. Any unregistered person found in the room after cut off will be considered a party violation.

Please help us maintain a peaceful and enjoyable atmosphere for all guests.

SMOKING & COOKING POLICY

To ensure a safe and healthy environment for all guests and staff, smoking and cooking are strictly prohibited in all guest rooms and common areas.

 

Prohibited Items:

  • Tobacco products (cigarettes, cigars, etc.)

  • Marijuana

  • Illegal drugs

  • E-cigarettes

  • Vape pens

  • Vaping cartridges

  • Hookahs

  • Incense

  • Candles

  • Patchouli oil or other strong-smelling oils

  • Cooking appliances (except microwave and refrigerator)

Consequences of Violation:

  • A $250 room recovery fee will be charged for smoking in a guest room or on the walkway.

  • Violation of this policy may result in immediate eviction without refund.

Designated Smoking Area

The Orange Motel is 100% smoke-free. There is a designated outdoor area available for smoking outside the motel. Please use this area for smoking.

 

Report Odors

If you smell smoke or other unpleasant odors, please report it to the front desk immediately.

 

By adhering to this policy, you help maintain a comfortable and safe environment for everyone.

WEAPONS POLICY

Carrying a weapon on the premises is prohibited and violators may be subject to arrest for criminal trespass under applicable law.

 

DAMAGES & THEFT POLICY

Damage and Theft Liability

Guests are responsible for any damage caused to the motel or its property during their stay, whether intentional or accidental. The motel reserves the right to charge your credit card for any damages or losses incurred.

Room Damage

Rooms found in a damaged or excessively dirty state may be subject to additional cleaning fees.

Tampering with Safety Equipment

Tampering with fire detection or firefighting equipment is strictly prohibited. Any damage or costs resulting from tampering will be charged to the guest's account.

Security Measures

We take security seriously. Tampering with security equipment is a violation of our policies and may result in legal action.

By staying at the Orange Motel, you agree to be responsible for any damage or losses caused by you or your guests.
